Re: The Last Rover 800 - not for the feint hearted!!!!

As i understood it the last 800 off the production line (a white gold) S reg Sterling went to Gaydon. So was this the last or last but one? This car was then sold off when Gaydon cleared out a few of the cars collection a couple of years ago. I think it sold for approx £8-9,000. Often wondered where ...

Rover 800 mk1 roof panel

Does anyone know if a Mk 2 roof panel would fit a Mk1 and if so would it look odd?
I assume the panel would have a different line to it and it wouldn't look correct but just a thought?

Re: blue mk1 820Se saloon A8FCH

It was originally from about ten miles down the road, yes! It lived in Budleigh Salterton all it's life until being sold on eBay by The Doctor a few years ago. It was then a one owner car from new. Two people owned it before the chap I got it from (Lyn) bought it in 2009. * Radio only works out of ...

Re: blue mk1 820Se saloon A8FCH

I may be mistaken but was this car originally from the Cornwall Devon area? It seems very familiar to car that was advertised approx 2 years ago. It had a massive write up and very well advertised.
Looks very nice and cant be many left of that age in that condition. Good to see its in safe hands.

Re: Silver MK1 fastback low milage G58EOV

I think that this was the car which for sale in Dorset earlier in the year for £1995 on car and classic. I think they also have the 10,000 mile Mk 2 white gold sterling which sold on ebay for approx £2000 then went to The classic car auction nr Kings Lynn and i think it sold for about £3300.

Photo and video software.

I currently have Nero that i use for making video and slideshows. However when it come to adding music i seem to encounter a problem. It will recognise some music but not others, I asssume its because it doesn't like music produced in WMA. Its odd because some music i have downloaded works and other...

Re: My '87 Rover 825i Auto Sterling

Welcme to the forum.
I do like Lynx bronze its such a classy colour and suits the car very well. It reminds me of one i used to see on a daily basis in the early 90's.
Good luck with the restoration .

Re: More mice

I understand they don't like the smell of peppermint. You could try planting mint plants around your garage? Even putting peppermint oil on cotton wool and placing it near to where you think they may get in may work?

On Wednesday i drove down to Leicestershire to view a car. A 312 mile round trip which cost me £55 in petrol. Despite the fact it came to nothing i don't care I really enjoyed the day out. I do love driving my Rover its such a delight. It just glides effortlesley along the road eating up the miles w...
