Don't go telling them you want it to deliver pizzas!! Try Clegg Gifford. Google it. Or Adrian Flux

Rover 825 Diesel 1993

Does anybody have a pair of the oil cooler pipes which run from the oil cooler to the oil filter. New (HaHa) or used leaking or not. Thanks

Re: fuel filler neck info

All R800 fuel tanks are the same, Mk1/2 petrol/diesel. The diesel filler neck is different as it has a wider opening at the top. Petrol necks are smaller to fit the unleaded delivery nozzels. Diesel filler neck only has one breather pipe, petrol one seems to have several

Re: Courier

Just a bit too far. 800 mile round trip. On my own I would go there and back and sleep in the car. I can't leave the family for that long, if I take them it will be a hotel and meals, and quickly turn into a circus. Easier and quicker to courier it

Twice now I have been stopped in a narrow lane with a scaredy cat in front can't get through a gap, so I pulled past in my 800 and through the gap. And these were locals!!

Re: Had a chuckle at this................

And then there are the idiots who drive AT YOU in country lanes plenty wide enough for two cars to pass. At the other end of the scale, a passenger in my car screamed when I put my R800 at a gap between two cars with an easy 2" on each side.

Re: Who drives their 800 daily?

I have two diesels (on free chipfat) and a petrol 825. All three are used in rotation, but it seems to me the more cars you have the more likely it is that all are off the road for some reason all at the same time!! L258YDD had a totally dead battery the other morning, and it is an almost new Varta ...
