Re: L reg 827 Sterling
It didnt with mine. I pulled S about 2 weeks before my MoT and it was the worst emissions ive seen. It took 2 attmepts to get it through. Now granted its a different machine down here and Im 300 miles south, but for the last 20 years of MoTing these at the same garge up north Ive always had really g...

Re: L reg 827 Sterling
So I was passing the Shell garage last night in need of some fuel so took the V-Power option, which was great as I'm getting 6x points as well. It cost me £4.80 extra to fill up with V-Power over standard Unleaded, so I only need to increase my mpg by 2 to have recovered the cost plus some. Last eco...

Re: L reg 827 Sterling
Bizarrely, the BP garage I use on the A31 only sells standard diesel and unleaded, no super versions of either. I'll try and stick some BP Ultimate in next time Im in Wimborne and see how it goes!

Re: L reg 827 Sterling
Understood, the wifes Alhambra has red stuff in too. Talking of attacking seals, and going off topic slightly what's the group thought on Tesco Super unleaded or Momentum as its known given its got 10% ethanol in it. Is it likely to cause problems to hoses and such? Compared to other super fuels its...

Re: SRS Connector
Thanks Dave. You'd be a real star if you had one!
Id rather unplug the existing and use a replacement if I can.
We use Amphenol stuff at work so I will have a dig about when Im back on site later this week.

SRS Connector
To assist with my special rewiring of the SRS on my 827 I am in desparate need of the connector shown below. It sits behind the dash and connects to the rear of the instrument binnacle. Its a long shot but I cant see where else Id get one..... (Picture heavy...) http://i68.tinypic.com/nd064p.jpg htt...

Suzuki to Vauxhall??? Tell me more.....scoobyh123 wrote:Yes - it's a fiddle with 2 capitals "F"s and easiest done from above - same goes for the back one but that's easy by comparison, about 10 minutes to do the back one including changing the connector from Suzuki/Vauxhall to Rover.

Re: 1995 V Reg mk11 with mk1 bonnet
Did you manage to get the front sensor out without removing the rad then? That was my next port of call. The garage had a 50mm socket on it and were dangling off the ramp and still it wouldn't budge! I have purchased a little timer device to wire in so I can set the SRS light to a slightly different...

Re: 1995 V Reg mk11 with mk1 bonnet
Might have to link to the PGMFI or ABS. PGMFI could cause me an issue though as Lambda 1 is a bit dodgy so sometimes on hard acceleration my PGMFI comes on. I have tried to get the sensor out to replace and couldnt. Local garage up north had it on the ramp and tried but didn't suceed and didn't want...

Dave,
How have you overcome the SRS light if you've removed the bag?
