That one looks the same as the one I have.

Mine has DCP 8311 on the back and 2TCVM under that.

Re: Kv6 coolant leak

Hi Tony.

I had similar problems with the gear change on my 1998 KV6, after swapping the Jatco box, that sits under the front passenger side seat, the problem was solved.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an allergy to wheat and dairy, after giving up wheat and dairy, my arthritis has gone.

Re: 820 T-Series Inlet and exhaust manifolds

Hi all, Don't suppose anyone has an intake and exhaust manifold for an 820 available for sale? I'm going to pull the head off my spare T-Series, lap the valves and fit it to my 820. The original engine at 110k has badly burned exhaust valves (it's a bit low on compression) and I desperately want my...

Re: Wanted, Rear Bumper for a Rover 800 Hatchback

Hi Bill

Can you find the paint code please, it's on a plate by the front passenger door, if you open the door, it's on the centre column, just above the sill.

It should be HAF or HNA, however, knowing Rover it could be something completely different.

Re: 1990 827 SLi for sale

I need to find a home for the old girl quickly because of impending house move in 3/4 weeks, but don't want to just scrap her, asking £300. The car is in Monmouth near Ross-on-Wye. Well its metalic green with beige interior, fastback, 4 speed automatic and done 210k miles, she's had new sills and h...

Re: Power steering pump for a '98 820 with a/con

Thanks for the leads people .... finally got this sorted using a pump from a diesel 25 and found the source of all the original problems; turned out the o-ring inside the pump on the supply pipe elbow was sealing when cold but when warm was worn enough for air to get drawn in/let fluid leak out. Lo...

Re: MkI and MkII wood trim.

These are still available, nobody has contacted me via PM to arrange delivery/pickup. They are packaged and ready to go to a new home. If nobody wants to claim them/pay postage they'll go in the bin in the new year. You can always drop them off at my place, on your way home! I'm still doing my best...

Re: Wanted. VCM dead or alive.

Hi Russ

I don't think this one is very slim, it's more likely to be the larger version, the face is 185mm x 102mm, it's 124mm deep.

Re: Belt tensioner and pulley for 825 Diesel

Hi Darren I was somewhat less polite when my local Rover dealer gave me the quote, it took me two weeks to get over the shock, they quoted me £564.00 to do the job, with parts and labour, the tensioner was £134.00 plus vat, the pulley was £64.00 plus vat. After taking the old tensioner and pulley of...
