Re: SELLING ALL MY MG ROVER STOCK
Rover parts will always be tricky, my experience shows that rover owners (of virtually all vintages from P models up to 75's) are "tight as a gnats guff" They are rarely prepared to spend proper money on spares/repairs, sums that owners of other makes quite happily spend. The main problem obviously ...

Re: Prepping for the MOT
That is one stunning car, I just hope I can get our P3 back into one piece, never mind anywhere near that standard.

Re: Manalishis 820 Vitesse Coupe
I can't do the maths, but I'm fairly sure that you don't need to increase the diameter of a single bar very much to make it the equivalent of two smaller bars, something like a 25mm bar would be the same as 2 x 20mm bars (but that's a total guess)

From yahoo group, 21k miles
Appeared on yahoo group, can't see it posted already. Still have this car available if anyone is genuinely interested, would love it to find a good home. Currently wondering whether to put it back on road and just enjoy it but would prefer it it be enjoyed more regularly than I can. --- In Rover800@...

The diesels are extremely efficient, if a bit slow. My brother has a Pug 106 with the same engine and it does over 70mpg on a run.

Those bigger anti-roll bars really do make a big difference, especially when fitted to a mk1 that had even skinnier ones to start with.

Re: My new toy...
Sounds like you've got some good plans there. Of course it is 11 years old, I keep forgetting how old "new" stuff is these days, I'm sure they only came out a couple of years back  Thinking back to my first car, a lovely '79 Chevette was about 9 years old when I got it and significantly more ru...

Re: My new toy...
Jeez, look at all the rust under there!, I know it's just surface but I don't have that on my 23 year old Rover. Time to get yourself a big tub of Dinitrol and a spray gun and get that lot protected quick. They certainly didn't get carried away at the factory did they ? Looks like somebody has been ...

Re: Rover 827 Crank position sensor fitting
I've got a full engine and box sat in a container at work that I have to skip at some point, must remember to test and remove the crank sensor before it goes if they're worth money !
