It was me and I still have a load left.
These are the type where the bolt holes line up and not set at 90 degrees. It's been a while since I sold any but it'll be £8.50 a pair including p&p.

One side says Clock No. and a few rows including modules 1 to 3, core mains, trunk The core one has number 07894 27344 and the other side has Rover 800 series at the top and 4049 YMC11546 Cell No with...

Re: Mk2 interior
It's the piece which goes across the hatch opening and overlaps the inner D pillar covers and keeps the rear of the headlining in place and meets the hatch seal. You know, the bit that always breaks when you take it off. Having examined mine after removal, the problem is that the plastic lugs which ...

Motobuild did a copy of the TWR kit which was made of fibreglass, The Rover ones were ABS plastic and not foam and were held on by plastic clips. If you look at my car, you can get the idea of the shape so it may be possible to have some 3D printed or made by a fabricator. https://s33.postimg.cc/ytx...

I'm surprised no-one has made a pattern part for these as there seems to be a demand for them, like the sills.
I suppose I could measure my last new one for size and a sheet metal worker could make them.

Re: Chat about cars you've been in lately
Nissan Juke. The second one I've hired in the last four months. It's really not that bad a car despite its quirky looks. It's a firm ride but not overly so, The driving position is good and the amount of kit it's fitted with is great. I'd like to try the 4WD version if possible. Performance is good ...

Re: car insurance rip off
Sergei isn't always the best. He gave me a quote from the CIS which was ok so I just thought I'd get a direct quote from them myself too. I saved £70 by going direct and when I tried to claim a Meerkat they said I wasn't eligible as I hadn't booked it with the CIS through their website. So, now I kn...

Re: Rescuing old DVD's and C/D's.
What interface does the CD drive have, IDE or SATA ? I'm sure I have a few drives spare and you could have one for the cost of postage. I even have one of the first CDRW drives too and a lightscribe drive (putting a lightscribe enabled disc the wrong way up andf you could burn text or images into th...

Re: Rescuing old DVD's and C/D's.
However i have drilled a 3/8" hole through a CD to prove it would still play afterwards and it did. That was 32 years ago though and things may have changed. :D You can cut 4 large radial slots in a CD and it will still play due to the error correction algorithm. Philips made a CD player whi...
