Round thousand takes it off my hands.
Else it gets bean tinned in the new year folks.

Just a final reminder of the send off. Worked the old girl bloody hard around the GP circuit. Possibly my favourite photos of one of my cars on track, a full 4 wheel slide at full slip angle all round through the apex at McLean's - proud of that one! https://i.postimg.cc/jChGx6Ct/EMP-4123.jpg https:...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
Excellent, it is good to see another 800 working hard on track, they really are quite good once you get going. It s a shame you are selling it. It's definitely a case of keep all the momentum going! Trail braking it into the slower corners to get the arse around Vs the higher speed ones of just huc...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
Small update, Finally ended up buying genuine rear discs from Rimmer's Sorted the braided lines and XP8 pads Got the RB5 Tarmac Rally tyres mounted on a very bent set of Vitesse 17s Fiddled the LPG enough to pass emissions but it needs the magencor leads, new coilpack and LPG iridium's back in it be...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
Intersting. Never thought there was a particular problem with the clips which are still available from Rimmers. Is this your design Dusan? The original design is slightly compressable to give a tensioned 'spring fit' in the bracket, is this one just relying on a friction fit? What material have you...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
Unsure if there was already a known solution to these. But as I was missing two I figured I'll fire up the 3D printer and bosh some out. I remember these being delicate so beefed up the design somewhat. Also has the benefit I can adjust the position of the "Hole" to correct and bumper alignment issu...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
New Carbotech XP8 pads for the front arrived. Entry level track day/race pad along with the braided lines should make the old girl feel a bit more modern and confidence inspiring. https://i.postimg.cc/mtzByYC3/PXL-20231013-140438408.jpg Rather concerning is the pad is the same fitment as a Honda EP3...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
Never doubted you could do the big stuff! 8) It is basically impossible for me to do this type of work: no garage, no lifting tools, no drive, no nowt! And I live on a narrow, one way street on a hill with a major housing project at the end: HGVs bouncing up the road every few minutes so it's awkwa...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
Nothing too exciting. Just the first part to arrive so on it went! https://i.postimg.cc/pmtcspzr/PXL-20231010-165716283.jpg This is me showing my ignorance again: are these two parts directly comparable, just that the shiney one needs some plumbing mods? If you don't ask, you don't learn. Yup, just...

Re: Alucard7002 - Mk2b 820Si Fastback - Pic Heavy!
What needs doing on the turbo one? Happy to take it on I've got space in December and a man with a P38 and Covered trailer  Hmm, let me think... everything. However, principally engine, gearbox and probably turbo refurb. The engine rattles, particularly in the low to mid 2000rpms and ...

Re: Fastback's cars.
I've gone to the time, trouble and effort to source an original precisely because I believe I don't want a straight through system. Last time I did that with a Powerflow (on the 825 SLi) it was flippin' awful. The constant intrusive drone and the loud boom under load was intolerable. It just didn't...
