Re: BMC / BL Show Gaydon 2020
Thanks for putting these up Mark, it was a cracking day. We were hoping to arrange an 800 only Drive and Tech Day at Gaydon in the near future but the Governments announcement on the "rule of six" starting the 14th September has kind of killed that now. We will be doing it when the world returns to ...

Re: How many were made?
Mk1 production 193,529 of which 116,117 sold in the Uk, , some 77,300+ sold Rest of World, which includes the 34,872 that went Stateside. I personally think there is another 4000 to add to this figure, these were the cars built in Japan by Honda in a reciprocal production plan where Cowley built 250...

Re: 800 Owners Club
Charles you have a right to your opinion and you have had the freedom to voice it. Your criticism of the 800 Owners Club would have resulted in your membership being revoked had you not already terminated it yourself. I know this because I once criticized the club and had my membership revoked witho...

Re: 800 Owners Club
Charles I am sorry to hear that you think so lowly of me personally, I do try to help when I can but if someone else has already posted the answer to a query then there seems little point in replicating that. I started the new 800 Club for the reasons mentioned above regarding the direction of trave...

He wont get £2000 breaking it so always worth an offer. I did see this at POL but I didn't look at it closely.

Re: Brand new sills
Yes the new 800 Club will continue with the Coupe sills in the near future and hopefully wheelarch repair panels for MK1, MK2 and Coupe derivatives. However this does largely depend on membership take up for one and finding the time to get to the fabricators for two. If you are interested in joining...

Re: Manalishis 820 Vitesse Coupe
Might be worth looking into plasti-dipping to get trim "walnut veneered".
It's on my "to do list" for the new 800 Club but an outfit in Sweden would probably make more sense for you Henrik.

Henrik Chris' picture gives an excellent view of the 3 heater boxes from left to right, in your car they will be right to left.

When off the car tailgates are big and extremely heavy ,as you'll discover when you remove the old one.

Re: Stickers Wanted
A lot of food for thought there Dave, i've tried looking online at http://bmcblrally.co.uk/ and keep getting a "404 : Page not Found Error" and sometimes a "403 : Forbidden" so whether their server is down or the site is now defunct or what, i don't know. I'll have a good think and post a better re...
