Still got my Rover 800i late model 1994( 25 years ) but am now looking for a replacement coolant tank / reservoir as mine has developed a couple of pin holes in the top above the level marks. Have tried Rimmers but they say none available anywhere. So wondering if anyone out there may have a spare (...

Re: primary linkage arm for windscreen wipers
Hi Dave. Took your advice with the open ended spanner, worked a treat. Wipers back up and running although they required new spindles as the old one in the centre had ceased solid. took advice from other forum users and went to Rimmers for the parts. Motor checked and even after 24 years it's in per...

primary linkage arm for windscreen wipers
After discovering that the problem i have got with the wipers packing up on my 820i is not electrical or motor related but with the linkage i could really do with locating a Primary Linkage arm. I have managed to find a new partial linkage kit including both spindles and the linkage arm that connect...

Re: Heater sliding on/off switch or heater switch control pa
Why are you looking for a switch? It's quite common for the resistor pack in the blower motor to give up and sometimes even the blower motor too. Usually the switches last quite well. With the resistor pack, if memory serves correctly if you remove the glovebox and the under-dash trim on the passen...
