Re: Manual leather gear knob...
Just fitted the P38 gear knob this afternoon and looking very smart, I decided to fit a new gaiter as well whilst I was at it, but the new remade leather ones on eBay are thicker than the original Rover one and had a bit of trouble, (You can't tuck the leather into the top and slide it up so it clic...

Manual leather gear knob...
Has anyone got a decent leather gear knob for a 1997 manual please! Did Rover fit them to any other range, 200 or 600 maybe!
Thanks, George.
Thanks, George.

Re: Hospitalised!
Attended Glenfield Hospital last Thursday for my follow-up last appointment, yes more tests, but all is good and I'm back to normal once again (well as normal as can be expected!), and most importantly I'm behind the wheel again.
My thanks for all your personnel whishes' and kind comments.

Re: Hospitalised!
I wish you a speedy and uneventful recovery mate. Very lucky man. I also have to echo others here, 6 years ago Richard! Seems like yesterday I heard about it. Hope the hot weather is treating you well! I'm heading in for knee reconstruction surgery next week as it happens - I'll have to borrow Das ...

Re: Hospitalised!
Many thanks for all the kind wishes guys. I had some good news today, a shadow that appeared during a scan on one of my kidneys and was suspected as a suspicious growth has been diagnosed as a small cyst, so a return in 12 months time for a ultrasound scan, what a relief! Yes Dave , I'm glad Swampy ...

Hospitalised!
Hi Guys, I have been in hospital for just over a month due to a quad heart bypass, came as a complete surprise to me and the family> I suppose I was lucky that my heart attack happened whilst I was in the doctors surgery awaiting to be fitted with a 24 hour heart monitoring device, I remember saying...

Re: Who's still active?
I don't understand the idea that Facebook is a more attractive place. Aside from having to read inane post about what people's guinea pigs had for breakfast, the way posts appear and are arranged prevents any sort of useful archive being created. It's full of nonsensical chatter and very little kno...
