Re: Rover 825 Sterling Diesel Coupe

I have already discovered a few things and I am now 90% certain its a conversion and not a factory job. See if you can spot why in the engine bay photo.' Anything to do with the expansion tank? Good answer, but its not right :) The 'expansion tank' is in the correct place under the windscreen in th...

Re: R989 XOF 820I Fastback in BRG Low miles

I was realy tempted by that one as I used to own its brother; R630 XOF. An identical car with a little more leather on the door panels and a diesel engine. This petrol fastback is a car you could use everyday and if maintained and cared for would be real lovely vehicle to own. The seats - in many wa...

Re: Diesel Coupe

Hi Brian - thats alot of 800's! I never owned an 827 so my 1998 BRG Diesel Fastback is by far my top car - although i realy enjoyed my Sterling Coupe which looked gorgeous. So I am hoping this car will be my new favourite.

Re: Diesel Coupe

Thanks Ian - very good of you, once the car is with me will have a look to see whats needed. My initial nerves over paying that kind of money for a possible white elephant have passed and I feel more excited about it now. I have not had a comfortable sit down since I sold my last coupe!

Re: Diesel Coupe

Yes they are the wheels, well spotted (although they are hard to miss being the only ones :) ) One looks like it has a a dent in the rim, I just messaged to the seller to check. Spokes do look good, but I am not so sure about the Roversport 5 spokes...has anyone seen them on a coupe before? I have t...

Re: Diesel Coupe

I might be totally mad, but I just brought that car! I never intended to pay that much but with 3 or 4 seconds to go I just hit the button and it was done. Here is why. I have owned Rover 800 series cars since the 1990s. As I looked after them, they looked after me and only the very first one (a ser...
