Re: Fastback's cars.

That is an excellent repair! I got my 6th light finisher out with a slight twist as it came out from behind the headlining trim. It didn't go back that way!

Didn't take the headlining trim out as i know they're prone to breaking

Re: Manalishis Mk 1a 827 Vitesse (manual)

Nice read of the updates. A) Didn't know Mk1 had better rear speakers than the Mk2 Hatch. B) Coupe and saloons use the same rear speakers. It's just that the holes 'Dont quite' fit my Pioneer TS-A2016's. Its more the mounting holes. But damn, they sound good. 3) I have bookmarked your headlining sup...

Re: Mercedade's '97 Vitesse Lux

So I removed the plastic trim around the quarter light (the photo above shows the trim already removed) - there were a few casualties along the way, so I will be keeping a look out for a replacement, but I don't fancy my chances. Anyway, on further inspection, it doesn't seem like the quarterlight ...

Re: My V reg Nightfire Vitesse Fastback!

Update time!!! I am still around, just very busy with life stuff. Finally (Due to Covid 19) got time to do more to the V reg The drivers side was REALLY bad. Literally the whole bottom 2 inches of sill replaced. All 3 panels, with the complete outer. Passenger side didn’t look so bad, was just a sma...

Re: Re: 1994 BRG Vitesse Fastback

That forum has gone Dave. Its where I got all the information for my Vitesse Coupe gearbox rebuld a few years ago. I remember the post, and how the guy was machining his own shims in his workshop. If I can find the historical websire link (thats if they logged their stuff) i will post it up. Doubtfu...

Re: Re: 1994 BRG Vitesse Fastback

I think the PG1 and 2 internals are basically the same, from memory the casing is the main differences, I will find some pictures from the workshop manual. They may look the same, but the main difference is that the 2.7 manual uses taper needle roller bearings for the diff to casing, not the conven...

Re: Brand new sills

When I was going round various sheet metal workers in Surrey Area, one gave me quotes for vaious quantities, and turnaround times. I endup up with some of Simon's sills in the end. I still have their details if you would like me to pass them on. P.S. Sorry for absence. Life is kinda mad busy, emotio...

Re: Remade bumper bracket

Know the quality of the sills. :)

Considering getting 3 Fuel Fillers too!!!

Then I am probably going to Polybush the 2 Vitesse's and the 2.7 coupe.

Could be an expensive year. And a busy one!!!
1st, gotta finish the Fastback Vitty before I do the sills, engine and box on the Coupe Vitty!
