Here is a picture of the vitesse, I have another picture of the wires that are now on it, i will post it when i find it and upload it. My Dad is currently finishing the restoration. Yep Grace certainly loves the buses and was rather taken with the childrens train track too. And very pleased about the comment on my rover 800 being a favourite... well what can i say a 'woman' owns it..... no swearing on any replies (chuckle chuckle). Nice to meet all of you but haven't got a clue...

Michelle and i were talking about the meet on Sunday and sadly because of the state of our finances at the moment we cannot bring both cars along. Sorry. some people might think it rather sad to have such an interest but i find that era really fascinating. I have always known about the cars as i was a young lad whose father worked at a BL dealership but have since enjoyed learning about the problems, politics, unions and how close it came to folding.

There has been quite a lot of discussion about this car on the TR7 forum i frequent. The experts are saying that this is a standard pre-production car, was never rallied and was not one of the very rare sprint versions.
