Re: 99' V-reg 820 Sterling
But back to more serious matters - could we maybe convince the guy that his car is needed for a period tv drama or something and he'll be paid for the privilege (but in the small print any works carried out to make it road legal, get it running etc must be paid for by him at astronical profit of co...

Re: KV6 exhaust system please
Hmmm, are they the same as the 825?
I think really what I need is a bigger catalytic converter as I noticed the pattern part one is quite small, and a flexi pipe.
I'll keep you mind though Dan,
Thanks

Re: 1995 Rover 827 Sterling Fastback
Hi Tone, I did pass by this car the other day and it is still there, but the seller, a young lady, seems quite difficult to contact most of the time.
I am looking to pass by this car tomorrow and will knock the door again to see if I can get an answer.

Re: 99' V-reg 820 Sterling
I've spoken to this bloke a number of times but have yet to meet him. As Brad says, he is hard to pin down, doesn't seem to have game plan of his own, a firm price and has now lost the keys, yet he does seem to want to call the shots. I think, like many sellers, he probably deems "scrap value" to be...

Re: My First 827
Great stuff lad. Lets hope this car has found a good, long term home with you. These are getting considerably rare. I like the title, it should be in multi-coloured writing ala: Tomy.

Re: Brad's (very slow) 820 Sterling Coupe auto 1998
Thanks Brad, but towbars were the bain of my life when I had the 827Si. It had a great bodykit but ruined by the bleeding towbar. I never got remove it fully though it was heavily toned down. Thankfully I've not had a car with a towbar since. I dont think the 2.0 engine suits it, I mean you never fo...

Re: Brad's (very slow) 820 Sterling Coupe auto 1998
Looks great Brad. I remember driving an 820 Coupe in manual form. It just didn't feel or sit right with me. I remember remarking that it sounded like a Montego. Whats wrong with the mats Brad? If your stuck, let me know. Oh yeah, and bin that towbar, it looks stupid on a Coupe, even more laughable o...

Forget a 75. Get yourself a Volvo 740 Estate. These are great for sleeping in the back, very spacious and seemingly bullet proof. Also they seem to still be at the bottom curve of prices so your likely to bag yourself a bargain.

Re: Brad's 1991 J reg Mark 1c Sterling for sale
I'm glad you've got it Dave, it couldn't have gone to a better person. I kind of wish I had bought it to be honest as I might still have a working Mk1 Sterling instead of that bloody waste of time and money G-reg Sterling rubbish that decided to implode its own engine for no apparent reason. The dam...
