Re: Quality Vitesse tyres 225/45 x 17 - Goodyear Eagle F1 -

That is a good price! I had a tyre go on my Jag on the M5 in July - slightly different I know - and thought I had done well with the tyre place in St Austell @ £82.50 (with lifetime guarantee). The chap in St Austell said I might have a journey to claim under the guarantee if I needed to, I commente...

Re: I've only gone and blown the bloody doors off

interesting the experiences with different petrol brands, back in the day when I were a lad I thought it was just one of my Dad's urban myths - he swore by Esso as the only petrol for his Triumph 2000 estate, then we had the 70's petrol/oil and suddenly price became more of a issue :) (nothing like ...

Re: Lack of Forum Notificiations

My visits to the site are less frequent as I don't get the reminders I used to....
I even changed my registered email account to no avail...

Re: I've only gone and blown the bloody doors off

Just the job, cheers.... To put my query in context, I have had emission reading 'challenges' on the MOT for the last few years. Even with an Italian tune up :) to clear out the regular short journey lack of warm up etc, I have had the warning light for the sensor coming intermittently when under lo...

Re: I've only gone and blown the bloody doors off

Hi Whilst resolving a PGM-F1 issue on my 827 coupe which was diagnosed as a faulty lambda sensor, I now find my my rev counter is not working. Can someone please assist? Where did you get the replacement Lambda sensor, and did you note the part number? Just get a universal on eBay with the ...

Re: Whats a good first Rover?

For reliability, practicality and general all round comfort go for a Sterling 820 fastback. the only downside for some is that most were auto rather than manual. Upsides are that most of these would have been cherished (and garaged) by older owners rather than thrashed and abused. in 2007 I picked u...

Re: Non airbag grey dashboard

If you fancy having the Flint grey mk1 dash in the Shitesse I'll do you a deal. You can have it for free! IF! You come around and swap it out yourself - as long as I have a dash of some description in the Shittese I don't care  Where are you? I have a spare with airbag that could be exchanged....

Re: Non airbag grey dashboard

I got the wrong end of the stick Ian - i thought the beige dash was also non-airbag so won't be much help to me if it has an airbag sadly. However, if you swap your dash with Dusan, perhaps we can sort out the carpets at the same time - he's about half hour away from me (2 hours in bad traffic! :wi...
