Re: Rover 820 Vitesse Sport Lux Gold

You don't fit a restrictor with the Klinger headgasket, either the original restrictor as fitted to the M and early T series (the picture Dave put up) or the micro-bore copper pipe modification. That will mean you won't get there until midday Rob!
 well it did turn out to be 10:45.
Very disappointing to see only about a dozen 800s
Blame the Club committee, no stand set out, no planning, no Chairman til nearly 11am, piss poor.

Just checked on Rimmers to clarify the availability for everyone. They have Coupe offside at £3...

Re: Rear wheel arch sections

Simon, good on you for looking into this and thank you. My thoughts on the price are that it's pretty much what I expected for a limited run, my only question would be is this the complete arch (from sill to rear bumper) and how much overlap are they allowing. That is to say how much metal above the...

Dave (Dolly sprint), I have a radiator specialist 5 mins down the road from me, do you want me to make an enquiry?
Yes please Simon, that would be much appreciated, I'm going to ring Gloucester Radiators and Fast rads in wales tomorrow to gauge prices ect, thats if they will do them.

Re: Heater Matrix

I could by pass but the car is already stripped down and you'll appreciate it's some considerable stripping that needs to be done to get to the matrix. Still at least the anti-freeze soaked carpets and underlay are all clean now. Its just very frustrating that having thought I'd bought the part in r...

Re: Heater Matrix

Dave the two you list from ebay are both non aircon which is CDU3589, as listed by Rimmers as Non ATC. Trouble is they don't list the air con version, if I could remember how to put pictures up I could show you the difference :D

Re: Pride of Longbridge 14th April 2018

Not to put anyone off from going but check with the POL site before setting off. We have had a lot of rain recently and a couple of years ago it was cancelled from going onto the field as it was water logged and everyone was parked on the pavements around the park and to be frank was chaos. Fingers...

Re: 1991 Rover 827 Vitesse Fastback J739ODU

Sorry chaps, still trying to find a house to move too so I don't get on here much at the mo. The MK1 Vitesse only ever had the 2.7 V6 fitted and could be had with manual or auto gearbox. In 1988 Tony Pond chucked a modified one around the Isle of Man TT circuit in an attempt to average over 100mph f...
