Re: 820 Vitesse Fastback Rear Bumper

I have a set of Mk2 bumpers going spare, in the SY13 postcode, if that is near enough.

Re: Cambelt Tensioner Spring

A couple of years ago I walked into a local xpart dealer and got one for a couple of quid. Took a couple of dayw to arrive. Do Rimmers list them? Try any honda dealer.

Re: WANTED: Front and Rear Cylinder Heads for mk1 827

If the heads do prove to be toast, I can pull a pair off a long dead Mk1 827 lump that has been laying around in the back of the shed for a few years..

Re: A couple of Lexus LS's

I have to second Brad's comments. I have been an LS owner for a couple of years now, covering about 40k miles so far, just wafting along in serene comfort. The five speed auto is a joy and 90% of the time I am completely unaware of what gear it happens to be in. If you stick it in "power" mode and b...

Re: My First 827

Hi Jon, it was a pleasure to meet you all on Saturday and great to meet people who understand and appreciate our cars. Very pleased that you like the car and hope lunch at the Dog and Bull was up to the usual standard. Look forward to your updates.

Re: My first Vitesse

Well, with some regret, I waved goodbye to this lovely car this afternoon. A new forum member made the trek from "down south" to view the car and decided it was right for him. I shall miss driving it, and tinkering with it - but I know it makes sense to cut down a little on the fleet, for a while. I...

827 Allegro

Does anyone remember the pics from a few years back of an Allegro project with an 827 squeezed in? http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f51/LOW-RIDER/Project%20Allegro%202%20door/IMG_3451.jpg It all went very quiet after the intial work, but has surfaced again: http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/36...

Re: EBay bargain job lot £35

A good buy Brad. He has been hawking that collection of bits for literally years - I got an exhaust system and some other bits from him ages ago. I had not spotted that he had finally lumped them all together - so well done grabbing the clearance bargain. :-)

maybe that has been fitted by a previous owner to attempt a fix?

Re: My first Vitesse

No interest from anyone in buying this car, which is pretty much as expected. Anyway, had another look at the front offside wheel again this morning - seized solid again so something had to be done. First step was to check the slider pins, which felt very stiff. I found another set without the odd r...

1991 Rover 827 Vitesse Fastback J739ODU

I must say that this is a pretty reluctant sale... but I am trying to listen to my head and not my heart. I have had this car for almost a year now and it is a real pleasure to drive and as you will see from the threads, has undergone a lot of fettling to set it up for a long and reliable life ahead...
