And further more; if this is the type of negative and lackluster mentality of any club (like what I previously mentioned) then I don't need or would be willing to be apart of it.
Let me know if you would like me to close your account Charles

Re: 800 Owners Club

Charles, of course you are entitled to an opinion but there are opinions and there is being rude. No one has suggested you need to apologise either or need to be sent an apology. However, unlike you I read every post on the forum and here is a quote from Dave Smart which might make you rethink your ...

Re: 800 Owners Club

"Dave Smart could have done the courtesy of making and marketing the club outside social media. Because really, who searches for specific websites these days when everyone has 'Apps' on their Smart phones?? It does not surprise me I didn't hear about the new club. Dave Smart has never contacted on t...

Re: Brand new sills

Just to let everyone know I have reserved the last pair of sills to a forum member and I will not be ordering anymore. The outlay it costs me upfront, the time it takes to sell a batch (nearly 2 years for 5 pairs), that they cannot be sent due to courier limitations have contributed to this decision...

Re: Spray paint

I would suggest you find somewhere that will make up some paint up for you and where you can take your along. Whilst you might be able to have the original colour made up by providing the code it does not take into the colour of the paint now. After all this time there is a good chance the colour ha...

Facebook message

Someone sent me a message on Facebook messenger this morning about coupe sills. I saw the message but it seems to have disappeared before I could reply to it. If it's anyone on here or if you know who was asking (or on the Facebook page) could you get them to resend or message on here please? Thank ...

Re: Brand new sills

I had same issues with sending the coupe sills. People thought I was talking rubbish and being awkward, I ended up saying collection only in the end.

Re: Very sad news.............

I remember a conversation with Ron at Best of British some time ago. He said the older manuals were good as they were based on a proper strip down and rebuild, whereas the newer versions were extracts from online materials and not as useful or accurate.

Hope you enjoy it Chris, I now have a new Peugeot 3008. Really impressed with it, so much better than the 308 I had previously.
