Very often,the best option is to get one custom made - ideally from stainless steel. The companies that do it may not be much more expensive than buying online

I would have thought that a turbo inlet debris net would need to be so fine that it would be quite restrictive to the airflow

I've tried the Insignia - it's horrible. Almost everything about it was annoying - poor visibility, terrible mirrors, generally ugly, lot's of VERY annoying "safety"features.

At least its a reasonably robust T series, not a fragile KV6 - which means a chance that a gasket (plus perhaps head skim) may see you back in action

The point of a VDP is that they were coachbuilt, in a separate factory, by the same kind of craftsmen that created Rolls Royces and Bentleys. This applies to every VDP up to the Maestro/Montego.
