Re: Timewarp 827 on Fleabay - G404 GOH

Lovely car but all that second hand car salesman speak would stop me going anywhere near it, shame. Hope the original family got a good price for it.

Re: MEMS ECU with adjustable boost cut on ebay

I dont know the differences between the ECU's if it is just software or the hardware is different, you need both side by side to know for sure, so I wouldnt like to say.

Re: MEMS ECU with adjustable boost cut on ebay

I paid a fortune to have it fitted by PTS for Ten of the best many years ago, so I could run a bit more boost without the boost spike hitting the cut out.
I dont know if it can be done DIY, I guess if you know what your doing and you copied the parts it is possible.

MEMS ECU with adjustable boost cut on ebay

I have put the original ECU from my 1994 820 Vitesse on ebay, it has a boost cut mod so it is raised, to currently about 20psi but can be adjusted back to a more sensible level if needed. Handy if you want to use a boost controller to add a few more psi, but I do not recommend going much over 10 to ...

Re: Lancaster Insurance NEC Classic Motorshow 2016

Slightly random but relevant to the subjects. This forum would be a much quieter place without the efforts of Dave (scoobyh123) extremely helpful to all on here with useful information for whatever topic is posted. The forum owes a lot to Mr Scooby. The club website is disappointing, I hope it will ...

Re: Congatulations Mr President.

Polictics isn't really a good subject for a car Forum but in the interest of freedom of speech I'll say this. Many countries in the world are ruled by sexist, racist, arrogant, tax dodging, power crazy lunatics, but by and large they are insignificant on the world stage if not to their own people. ...

Re: Re: 1994 BRG Vitesse Fastback

The Vitesse will be going into hibernation soon so took a chance on the weather and went to the classic car night at the Ace Cafe. It was cold and the threat of rain made it a quiet one. http://rovervitesse.com/Ace%20cafe%2011.16%20a%201500px.jpg http://rovervitesse.com/Ace%20cafe%2011.16%20b%201500...

Re: Newbie with a renewed interest in my Rover

Hi Barry Welcome to the forum, absolutely delighted to know the car is still around and even better that you plan to get it up and running again. I spent many hours trying to find information and the whereabouts of your car for suspension tips and ideas and to find out as much as possible about the ...

Thanks Dave, completely agree. I doubt a single one of those tacky German cars will be on the road in 20 years.
