A very long shot...
As said in the title - this is a long shot... I am looking for all the necessary parts to convert the 4 dial dash in an R17 827 to a 6 dial dash as in the pre 89 XXs. I would like the speedo clocks assembly, wiring multi-plugs, correctly matched speedo sender, as well as the oil pressure transducer....

Thanks! :) The Wedge was launched in March 1975 as Austin, Morris (both had 1800, 1800 HL and 2200 HL guises) and Wolseley (2200). After 6 months, BL was nationalised and a consequence of that was removal of badge engineering. 11th September 1975 saw the last Wolseley roll off the production line. A...

Alex's 1975 Wolseley Wedge
I have been into the Leyland Wedge for a few years, but in 2001 I bought this particular example and restored it to the condition you see today. Do not have many pictures, but here are a few (more will follow when the weather is better). Car is a Transverse STRAIGHT 6 E series 2.2 manual. Colour is ...

Having owned a 75 Connoisseur SE with the 2.5 engine up until September (the car being in the family since 2003) I can confirm that that engine was entirely a different beast to the KV6 in the 800. Never ever missed a beat in the 75 (and was on 56k when sold). Contrast that to the 3 year old 30k mil...

Now that's what I call a thorough description...
War and Peace Description
Probably a nice car, just a woefully poor listing and photos.
Tad optimistic on price I reckon though...

That looks unbelievable. What is annoying for me, is that until June I used to live in the South East - never knew of that place's existance. Is it still like that I wonder, and how long since those photos were taken? Next time I am back up that neck of the woods I will endeavour to check it out. Th...

Now I have not posted a great deal on this forum primarily because, at present, I don't own an 800, although am working on that at the moment. I do however come on here most days to see what has been posted, and keep track of the car work logs which I find very interesting. In my view I think the fo...

Cheers guys! :D Like I say, currently 800-less but have owned, and had in the family just one or two 800s over the years. That list comprises: 87 Mk1 825 Sterling (Dad's new company car for a while, replaced an SD1 3.5 Vitesse) 91 Mk2 820 Si (owned by the folks 1994-6) 93 Mk2 827 Sterling (replaced ...

How do you find the Granada? A mk2 2.8i Ghia X is one of the things I have to get out of my system. One day! Excuse my double post - crossed postings! The granny is one of my "other" car passions. Have owned more Mk2s than I'd care to remember. But, saying that I am 29 and have owned over 70 cars s...
