Hi all,after talking to the person at the nec classic stand I have decided to join this club.I am currently resurrecting a saloon rover vitesse turbo.

Thanks Dave,its a late car which I bought as a winter run around as I love full pressure turbos and also love v8s (I have a monaro)This car came with a host of goodies on it and was told it was only requiring a gear linkage,its turned out to be the gearbox.So I am currently keeping rovaparts of Redditch in business due to the large amount of parts it requires. But I am not one to give up so engine out tomorrow. Cheers

Yes, I'm afraid that Torsen diff was never quite up to handling 200 ponies being dropped through it from standstill at 5000 revs! You gotta love previous owners :roll:

That car looks familiar - it reminds me of the one that Clive (bennobro) used to own before he moved to Canada

Right.Just thought I would give a quick update as to whats happening next
I will post in the projects page with pictures as to what I am doing. The only thing is I cannot seem to use any of the picture sites,why is it so hard to do.So I will have to email them to the higher powers for them to put on for me.

Hello, good luck with your project. These things get right under your skin, a fantastic car and very rewarding to drive in all formats be they 4 or 6 bangers with or without blower. All the best :)
