Hi, I'm James, a Rover nut! I've posted a small essay about my Sterling here:

But to prove my MG / Rover Credentials here is a list of my previous cars!

1988 Rover 216 (box shape). Was very unreliable and eventually met an untimely end when a BMW lost control and span into me (ouch)
1987 MG Metro Turbo. Again unreliable, turbo failed (twice) so it had to go. Massive fun to drive on the days it worked!
1991 MG Maestro Turbo (very rare!). Again massive fun to drive but too expensive to run when I got a job that meant me driving 40,000 miles a year.
1991 Montego Turbo Diesel. Not massive fun to drive but very reliable, sadly though the bodywork started to fall apart around the engine!
1997 MGF VVC, Bought as a bit of fun but became our main car
1975 MGB GT V8, factory spec in black, it was a beast
1994 MG RV8, good fun in a straight line but on the twisties my wifes 406 would beat it!
1999 MGF VVC, I loved the first one so much that after much wine it seemed like a great idea to buy a cheap one off ebay...and it was
1991 Rover Sterling, THE most reliable car I've owned!
2001 MG ZS 180, brilliant car, have been round Snetterton with it and it was able to keep up with some pretty exotic metal. How MGR managed to build that car with the change they found down the back of the sofa is beyond me.

Cars on my wish list at the moment are an 800 Coupe, an SD1 and a ZT260, but more realistically the ZS might get replaced with a oil burning ZT-T in the not so distant future

Hello and welcome. Impressive list of previous MG/Rover cars there.

Would you be wanting a 2.0, 2.5 KV6 or 2.7 Honda coupe, and in Manual or auto?

I _think_ I might know of a Silver s Reg for sale, manual, not sure of enginer size....

I'd have to be quite fussy with the coupe so I would be after a dark coloured 827 with the auto box and cream or grey leather interior. Would have to be in amazing condition as I am very fussy about everything working on my cars and them looking good. At the moment I also have a BMW 540i Touring so 3 cars is probably enough, but if anyone ever sees a coupe that matches my dream car then let me know!

Keep looking as they seem to be coming available quite a bit recently.

And 3 cars is never going to be enough.
