Newbie from Spain

Hi, guys, I'm Pablo, from Asturias, Spain. Don't have a 800, but a 220 coupe, but I'm in love with the 800 series, no matter if mkI or mkII, hatch or fastback, saloon or coupe... Anyway this car is amazing!! :D

I'm moderator in clubmgrover.es, the spanish club for MG-Rover and all BLMC brands. And, as a 800 lover, I've posted in our forum the 800 history (and my good friend HMS45, one of the forum administrators, has written about the 800 development).

A couple of years ago I was looking for a 827 coupe, manual, pretty rare in Spain (and have no luck, unluckily :? ), the most beautiful coupe I know. Felt in love with her ten years ago, when I saw one in Madrid, BRG and the cream Connolly with the walnut, wow!! I was shocked by that car.

Well, want to introduce myself here, and say hello to everybody! :D

Hola Pablo. There are two near mint coupes driving around Vinaros or better in Vinaros. So there are some.

Yeah, Lord Sterling, the car was like that. I was a 800 lover, thanks to an article that I read in a motor magazine several years before. The article went about the 825 vitesse mkI. I recall I tripped with the computer! I felt that car was a real executive. Several years went by, and I bumped into the wonderful 827 coupe, mean I was taking a walk.

Here in Spain is difficult to find that car, but I don't give up :D

wylie_eyed, great spanish, better than my horrible english, hope you all forgive me my mistakes :oops:

Gracias pablo however i must confess your english is better than my spanish :oops: i used a wonderful tool called Babel Fish. Your english is very good, your mistakes are no worse than english peoples :lol:

Its nice to know our English cars are appreciated outside England.They struggled to be appreciated by the English folks.
I always find it quite interesting to hear stories from outside England.
Continue to keep posting.
You say you own a Rover 220 they are nice cars and despite the fact you dont own an 800 who knows what will come your way in future. You own a Rover your already a family member.

I'm from outside England and I sure do appreciate your English cars, Prof!

They're popular here as they're easy to import and the steering wheel's on the right, see..... :D
