Ignition key blank.

Hi everyone.

In my quest to deal with the little things that annoy me with my car, whilst ignoring the big jobs like rusty sills and whining gearbox , I'd really like to get hold of a proper Rover ignition key blank rather than the horrid metal one supplied by key cutting places.

Can anyone help me? Or is there a supply of good quality compatible blanks anywhere?

Thanks Rus, that's just what I was after!

Paul - I'm using a Timson's key at the moment, an all metal one. And you're right, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it, I simply don't like it .

I'm an odd fussy bugger.

But I always liked the proper 800 keys, nice and chunky.

Identical original part still available (AFAIK) from them (possibly with "L" on the end of the R800 part no?)

That's how I got new proper originals a couple of years ago...
