Set of four wheels with/without tyres

Post by Kyle » Wed Dec 05, 2018 11:27 am

I am after a set of four wheels for my 800 dont mind design can even be steel wheels (the four dont even need to match), condition unimportant as they will only be used for winter storage. Tyres if they have them on can even be scrap tyres as not going to be driving round on them, happy to consider any wheels without tyres.

Probably not of interest to you Kyle, there's a set of Vitesse 6-spoke 17s on fleabay with naff tyres for £250 or there was when i started typing!

Seem to have disappeared now!

Also a set of Honda Accord 15" alloys with tyres for a similar price and some steel 15s from another Accord :

Not sure if those would be any use to you purely for storage?
Cheers,
Dave

If you're still looking for a set, my set of alloys that were on the car when I purchased it are now on ebay. All with good ( 2 brand new) tyres. Ma be more than you want to pay just for storage, but I've just relisted them.

Link to said wheels - by the way, the PCD is 114.3mm, not 115mm, sounds like i'm being picky but ebays search picks up on things like the PCD so gets you more results in the search function when someone is looking for wheels. Do you know what the centre bore of them is?

Note that some are listed as 114, others are listed as 114.3mm but they are all the same at 114.3mm. The centre bore is important, the Rover uses 64mm and it is the centre bore that keeps the wheel central on the hub, not the nuts - they just stop it falling off, literally! ;) :D
Cheers,
Dave

They look like OZ Polaris wheels to me for reference.

I very nearly bought a set for a car years ago. Nice looking wheels IMO.

I've got four alloys, no tyres. Apparantly very expensive when new, 17" 7J. They were on my Sterling when I bought it but they were way too harsh, so I put some original (optional) 6 spoke 16s on instead.
Only just up the road from you, so any good?
