Hi,
I've posted this on the 800 group on Facemoan too so hopefully fingers crossed!
I have all the bits to do a cambelt/water pump/cam sensor change on my MK1 Vitty, only piece missing is the tensioner spring (unless one of you with much more expertise than me says it's ok to use the one I have).
Please message me if you have one I could buy
Thanks in advance! Without this group don't know what else i'd do!
Kind Regards
Chris

I'll be ordering this from the states, so if you'd like one too, now is the time to shout as it'll save on postage

Still out of stock at Rimmers Chris, would you be kind enough to order me a couple from the USA as well please? Hopefully they're not stupid prices on either the springs or the shipping!
Think i've said this once or twice before but DON'T be tempted to skip changing the tensioner spring! Here's what happens :
http://rover800.info/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 49#p119349
He was lucky not to lunch all 24 valves. There's a follow up thread here as well with some more useful stuff :
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11887#wrapheader
Also a thread i wrote with a few pointers not in the Haynes Book of Fantasy or even the Rover WSM :
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3847
Bit of light bedtime reading for you there!
