My late fathers 800 sei for sale
My Father has passed away and he owned his 800 for 20 years, I'm looking for a good home for it, He was 91 years old and he had it serviced every year, the MOT has run out and its on a SORN, Its starts every time with the first turn of the key, I have drove it up and down the road and everything is working fine. The colour is dark metallic blue with grey interior, The alloy wheels are like new with lots of tread on the tyres mileage is 105000 and was registered Sept 1994. The car is in Birmingham and i would like £200 for it, I have all the keys and every MOT certificate. Smithy.

The rest of the answer contained most of his postcode so you can understand why i'm not putting it on the "open" part of the forum but it's in the Birmingham area, just to give a vague idea of where in the world it is.

Re: My late fathers 800 sei for sale
Would be nice to know the street so perhaps a journey could be planned for anyone seriously interested.
location is 99% of the incentive to buy in my opinion.
A street in Birmingham would potentially be pretty big so its not as if we know where he lives.

I don't have a street name, just an area - i think. You're right, Birmingham is pretty big but it's going to be about 150 miles each way for you so go for the worst case scenario and anything else is a bonus.
Question is, are you sufficiently interested to email the seller direct? If so i'm sure he would give the address to interested parties.

Emailing the seller might not be as responsive as you are.
As for being sufficiently interested ?
I'm interested in every single 800 that turns up for sale, but like I said 99% is location. I won a lovely 827 for a quid a few years back but never bothered to even look at the location beforehand. This was in the days of plenty and I placed small bids anyway just because they were what they were.
£1 and I couldn't collect as Scotland was a little beyond my maximum distance to travel. I think the seller was relieved to hear that from me though.
South of Birmingham, a mile or two off the M6 is tempting. North birmingham ? Going around the Motorways or through the city ? Forget it.
