Re: Alternate Brake Master Cylinder
I just bought a new SJC1007 from Rimmers, searched for alternatives but found nothing else. I wont fit second hand brake parts, its too dangerous. The new SJC1007 is expensive but the original has worked reliably for 26 years so went for the same again.

How soon they'll have more stock is another matter, gives people time to save i suppose!

Good spot, looks like I was lucky, I was going to wait till the covid thing is over and shows etc back on before buying so to make it the last thing to replace before getting the car roadworthy again but they were doing a special offer 10 or 15% off so went ahead, maybe a few others were watching for the oportunuty too.
It wont be fitted yet in case the fluid is sat for 12 months absorbing water.
I am pretty sure they are still produced so expect them to be back in stock soon.

Re: Alternate Brake Master Cylinder
Just spotted this listing Scott when it came in on my "Newly listed" email from fleabay :
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133663291244
Being an 820 Vitesse Sport, most things should be the same spec as yours if there are any other bits you're after too.

MGTF with ABS does fit the Rover 800. You just have to cut off the blank on the feed to the clutch system.
800 Saloon, Fastback and Turbo Coupe!

Re: Alternate Brake Master Cylinder
Or swap the reservoirs..............
I ended up with a manual reservoir on my master cylinder because i swapped it complete, now have a hose with a bolt blanking the end to prevent leakage.
