820 clearout

Post by Richard Moss » Mon Jan 12, 2009 12:43 am

No reasonable offer refused on any of the following:

Mk1 820 PG1 gearbox in good condition, no bearing noise.

Mk1 820 driveshafts - non-ABS but you can transfer the reluctor rings from an ABS one easily enough.

Mk1 bonnet in scabby blue but no rust, with hinges and struts if required.

Mk1 R/H front wing BRG - just a very small amount of superficial rust on the top edge (actually in very good nick)

Mk1 doors BRG no significant rust - all V solid. Probably without electric door motors, though, as I plan to keep them as spares (but that's negotiable!).

Mk1 BRG tailgate with glass and wiper motor - again, no rust but also no hinges!

mk1 front wiper motor and mechanism - good condition.

Mk1 820 engine ECUs etc - all believed to be good

Mk1 820 inlet manifold, injectors and throttle body

Mk1 820 exhaust system complete (x2 - one here, one in Yorkshire)

Set of mk1 door cards with wood trim all fair condition.

Mk "low level" centre console

Mk1 fastback boot trim in grey

Mk1 fastback seat catches and cables

Mk1 steering wheel - grey.

Mk2 steering wheel - black with airbag.

Pair mk1 "big" bumpers in BRG - no cracks or splits but would need repainting.

Front "big" bumper with cutouts for headlight washers but no washers fitted. Azure blue over grey.

Rear "small" bumper Azure blue over grey

Front and rear steel bumper armatures - good condition

Mk1 towbar with electrics but no ball.

I can keep stuff for a while if it has a guaranteed "sale" but not for more than a couple of weeks as I'm trying to make space for my new Jag. Obviously the heavy stuff will need to be collection only but smaller bits can be posted at cost (plus a little bit for packaging materials etc.).

Rich,

I'll take the wiper mechanism and motor, and the boot trim.

I'll give you a call later with regards prices etc.
Richard

Engine long gone - but I do have a T series 2 litre, all set up for M series EFI which would be a relatively easy swap.

Both blocks fit easily but wasted spark ignition is needed if you don't want a distributor stuck in the heater box. It's manifolds that cause most of the issues and it usually does mean the death of a Sherpa.
