Breaking Mk1 Sterling.

Post by N.I.Vitesse » Sun Mar 18, 2018 2:45 pm

Folks. Over the next few weeks I will be breaking a Mk1 Sterling, so if there's any items you are needing, let me know. Blue on grey bottom exterior, blue interior. Has set this last 15 years, 12 of which were indoors, last 3 undercover but beyond economical repair,to the rust worm in places. Will prob keep most engine and fuel parts but that's it, as I have no Mk1.
I have listed the 2 front wings and header tank on ebay, and they will be on later tonight.
Can post most items if required, as I'm based in Northern Ireland.

Which trip computer does it have in it Myles? Is it the slim one or full depth? I know someone was looking for one recently, when i remember i'll point them in the direction of this thread. :D

I'd say large, as it's the same as I had in my 827 way back. Any pics of the difference, Dave.?

The small one is the same size as the radio Myles, give or take a smidge. The large one is more or less "double-DIN" size. Small = rectangular, Large = square as a rough guide.

I've just learned he found one, has yet to wire it up but have pointed him in this direction so he may be after a few other bits too. :D
Cheers,
Dave

It's the larger type, then. 😂
