Hi i have been asked to see if anyones after this.


With reluctance im selling the 820 Sterling

Its been stood up since its tax expired (june 08 ) has been kept regularly started and driven up and down on the driveway.


Good points

Mileage 121000k

Color midnight blue

All electrics work

Expansion tank has been replaced

Coolant sensor has been replaced

Temp sensor has been replaced

New relay for the fans has been replaced (rad fan now works)

Coolant replaced at same time sensors done

Interior leather in good condition

Dashboard perfect

All tyres with plenty of tread upon

Mot til feb 09

Good bodywork

Lovely cruiser

Autobox changes without a fault

Working aircon

Cd player

Usual sterling comforts

Huge boot

New osf headlamp last mot


Bad points

Rear box is blowing (has a crack in it) rest of the exhaust system is fairly new

Alternator will need recommissioning or a new one as its over charging the battery

Nsf upper wishbone bushes will require replacing

Handbrake on last mot was weak (the handbrake pivots need attention)

Rear tyre's keep going flat (plenty of tread upon them) may need resealing

Thats the known problems and good points its a lovely car to drive and I will be sad to see it go.

Im really looking for this car to go to an enthusiast (it won't be ebayed)

Guys also got a Montego Vanden Plas going for free, needs a rear axle and work to rear 1/4 when someone bumped it AND an MG Montego 2.0 EFI.
