There is a technique used in maths for multiplying fractions where the fractions (or at least some of them) are multiplied to get rid of the part below the bar - for example 3/4 would be multiplied by 4 to get rid of the 4 below the bar. If you do this to one you have to do it to all in the equation.
Therefore if one 800 owner is odd and owns a complete 800 then what about an owner that owns half an 800 or mathematically 1/2 x 800 or 800/2.
To change the 800/2 we must multiply by 2 or double it so we must therefore multiply any factors relating to the owner by 2 or double them as well.
Reckon that makes you doubly odd Chris!

The flip-side to that theory is as you only have half an 800 you're only half as odd as the rest of us - who knows?
