H&H auction
H&H have a Rover Sterling Coupe 1999 in an upcoming auction . The registration is T287FBW. Is this car known to anyone on here and is the estimate of £3000 to £4000 realistic? Thanks, Chris

Re: H&H auction
This one do you mean?

Not one i've seen around, looks to have been bought by someone and kept as a weekend car almost.
Looking at the overall condition, i'd say the estimate isn't far off but if you buy it, budget for new timing belts (all 3 of them) water pump and coolant (ethylene glycol) and changing all other fluids including brake fluid, engine oil (10W40 semi synth) and ATF (Carlube ATF-U NOT Dexron as Dexron will kill the JATCo box as surely as it kills Honda boxes), oil, air and fuel filters and never leave the ignition key in the ignition if disconnecting the battery or if there's any possibility (however slight) the battery may go flat.
I see it's got 16" Prestige wheels, they reverted to 15" for the last of the cars so it's obviously a late registration and chances are a 1996 or 1997 car rather than anything later - Dave Dollysprint could confirm that from the VIN to be sure.
