Big old TV for sale

Post by Tenesmus » Wed Sep 15, 2010 11:37 am

Toshiba 36ZP18Q 36" CRT TV

Perfect working order but it's 8 years old (cost £1500) and been supplanted by modern technology.

Standard definition.

No internal Freeview so must be used with set top box or other video source unless you are in an area where an analogue service is available.

Dolby Prologic
4 external speakers

Lots of inputs, scart, component, S-video.

Built in subwoofer so sounds great (miles better than the plasma that's replaced it).

Downside is it's enormous and weighs nearly 12 stone (yes, really), but it comes with a sturdy stand and custom made wheeled base.

If you google 36ZP18Q you'll find pictures, reviews and specifications.

£40 ono, buyer must collect, you'll need a van and some strong help as I doubt you'll be able to get it into a car without damaging either the TV or the car. One of these went for £51 on ebay last week.

Quality TV's those, I have one and my dad has a newer 36ZP38 as well.

If you were closer I'd have fetched as a spare as I like mine a lot.

Very nice of you to offer but they weigh a ton. Not an easy thing to move about. Plus I'd actually have to find somewhere to put it afterwards.

Just to reiterate, buyer must collect! In fact, buyer won't get any help from me getting it out the house, one prolapsed disc is quite enough thank you and the buggered tendons in my wrist are already threatening a stint off work...
