Look at the engine pic, truly an O-Series development hack. Note the oil filler/breather pipe and the cam driven belt at the back. I wonder where that went to ?

Re:
The power steering pump of all things! My first 800 (D859 SGO) had exactly that arrangement and the pulleys keyway had "morphed" into the hole for the bolt so it no longer drove positively, resulting in little or no power assistance. A scrapyard wanted to charge me £25 for a replacement, Rover wanted slightly less but were out of stock then a chance meeting in a pub one night with the owner of a different scrapyard gained me a replacement pulley for a couple of pints. Bargain!BlueRover wrote:Look at the engine pic, truly an O-Series development hack. Note the oil filler/breather pipe and the cam driven belt at the back. I wonder where that went to ?
