Vm into Triumph2000

Post by bribull » Sun Nov 24, 2013 8:35 pm

In response to a request for pictures.
Progress so far, engine mated to a 4hp22 automatic gearbox with range rover bell housing and torque convertor, engine and gearbox mounts done. Inlet, exhaust manifolds and sump from the ford scorpio Vm (north south configuration).
Working on electrics now. Some success, still figuring out ccu/immobilliser wiring. I need to be able to simulate entering eka code should the remote decide to die on me. Can lock and unlock, and alarm led does what it should but not sure if immobiliser is being disabled. Will find out when I try to start it !!

Found your thread Brian! I've sort of explained the process (in the other thread about the immobiliser) of using photobucket to get pictures on here but basically if you do one photo at a time and use the IMG code (just click the code on photobucket to copy it) then paste it here, you should be able to get individual pictures.

Here's one i tried earlier :

Don't want to steal your thunder doing them with the appropriate words etc but that one looks like the VM engine in the Triumph engine bay i think?

Hope that's useful for you!
Cheers,
Dave
