We looked at Cascadas but they're based on a MK6 Astra which neither of us like.

We looked at 3 cars yesterday, a MK4 which wasnt as clean as the owner made out and felt very old to drive. So they're out.

We then looked at 2 MK5s. One which was in very poor condition for the money and the other which was pricey and very clean but the wrong colour (red).

We're going back to test drive the red one Tuesday or Wednesday all being well

Erm, so we seem to have agreed to buy this.

It's a 2008 2l petrol turbo. It's done 37k and only one owner from new.

We've got to wait for the MOT, cambelt and 2 tyres being done before we can have it. Should be a week or so we hope.

Should keep you out of mischief for a while! Looks nice!
