I'm fairly certain PB have put limits on how many pics you can share free in a given time so maybe you've reached that quota and i'm probably not far behind! :D
I don't share that many these days over what's been there for months/years.

It will really spoil a lot of forums. Wouldn't have been so bad if the subscription had been set at a sensible level. They want 399$ to keep my links working!
It will indeed Chris - how can they justify $399 to keep your links working????? That's extortionate - scrub that, it's extortion!!!  :x

There are so many properly free "Cloud storage facilities" (not that i know how to/can use them! ) such as Goggle Drive, Microflop Onedrive and so on that i really don't see how PB can even suggest that $399 is anywhere near reasonable! I'm beginning to think you've been scammed Chris, possibly with "ransom-ware" or something.

If i were you i think i'd contact Photobucket Victim Support - errr.......... Customer Service even and ask them what the airborne fornication is going on?
I'd also do a scan for malware of all forms, just in case! :D

It's criminal!

They reel you in offering free image hosting then shaft you sideways from Cardiff with a double-length bargepole!

I still think it's odd that i don't seem to have any problems and others do. Maybe my turn will come! Either way they can't hold on to the photos as they are your intellectual property, just seriously inconvenient to have to go through every image link you've ever posted and find out firstly what it was of and secondly where it is now so you can sort it out!

Something like that, I may have completely over reacted but I've spent about 4 hours going through the 5000 photos I had on there and deleted the lot and the account.

God knows what now though?

Didn't like the ZT?
The opposite, to be honest. It was my first one and I loved it (in fact, it's my first drive of a KV6). It was a cheap one, needed a bit of love and then, in the 10 days I owned it, I managed to pop a runflat tyre on a pothole and discovered a coolant leak. I was prepared to spend some time on it (that had always been the plan with this particular one), but then I saw one that I really wanted...

Took about an hour to think about it before offering it to a friend of a friend for £50 less than I paid for it, so now have space for the new one when I collect it next week.

I think it depends what you want it for, onedrive and Google drive seem okay for storage, but they are not easy to create links for this site.

That could be why i've not been able to use either then! Them and Dropblox or whatever it's called, just another storage facility.

Google drive/photos is useless unless like me you were lucky to get in early enough.

Google used to have Picasa web albums which had an option to publically host the photos.

Now google have killed off Picasa web albums and moved the old users (me) to google photos.

Because I had an old album that was publically shared I can now add photos to that album and they work.

However all the old photos that were linked to my picasa web albums no longer work :-(
