Hi all

I am new to the forum and would like to say hello. I own a P reg 2.0 Coupe Sterling Auto. Got a few little things to do to it for MOT and hope to have it back on the road for summer.

Hi, welcome aboard. That's a nice looking coupe you have there, and one very awesome trailer too... :)

Good luck with the work for the MoT. That wouldn't happen to be at Manston would it?

Out in the desert with a 1998 Grand Cherokee V8, 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4L and a 1997 Chevy Tahoe V8. Back home: 1969 MGC GT

Yes, L29 quality built Russian aircraft, flew into Caernarfon airport and stood outside for years. The photo's were taken just after it was dismantled and the rover dragged it out with a seized caliper on L29, a bit heavy. L29 is now down south somewhere being put back to flying condition as part of L29 display team.

That is a great sight, but where are you taking the aircraft? ;) I'd say that trailer even beats the one Chris chopped up.

Being picky it's Czech :) Which actually usually means much better quality engineering than Russian stuff

Hi,

Can anyone help me? can't open drivers door after unlocking. This happened on another rover 800 saloon I had many years ago and I failed to repair that without damaging the door card. Has this happened to anyone else on the forum and maybe found an easy way around it? Any help would be hugely appreciated.

No, it's like it's in superlock, when I unlock it with the keyfob the button only goes up a little and then will lock itself again, same with the key. I have manged to lift the button whilst unlocking with the keyfob and the car remains unlocked but neither outside or inside handle will open the door. Like your photo of the rover in snow.
