Very cool to see that these girls are well taken care of.

That 825 Sterling is so rare in my country (Netherlands), only one remains, from what year is your Vitesse?
i see some things that are different with my '89 version.

Thanks - the 825 Sterling is also rare here - there are only 2 licensed and 2 off the road - for all cars made in 1986. This one is chassis 627, made in the first week of production.

Tim. That 825 is so lovely. Please consider me if you ever decide to part with it. A D-reg 825 Sterling is my dream car (despite the fact I gave an E-reg 825 already) especially one as beautiful as that. I did get a chance to drive the D-reg from Birmingham to Worcester one time, it being one of the best mk1s I have ever driven, the only other one I drove was one Brad had sometime back, a G-reg 827 Sterling.

Sorry to digress but what's up with your 825 Mo? I'm surprised there are just 4 examples left; a few years ago I owned E909XFM, which was a similar car to Tim's but one of the last 825...

My 825, 'E50 UKJ' has been sitting in my garage since I bought it. It needs recomissioning work to get it back on road. A good service, cambelt waterpump change, tyres (got alloys with good tyres) and probably a bit of bodywork. Its gonna cost money and time, both of which arent exactly very easy to come by right now. Its time will come though.

E909 XFM hasn't been taxed since 2010

Hmm, I sold it in September 2010. It wasn't in the best of order and overheated regularly. At that time I had other priorities and had to downsize - life took over. Sadly even I can't save em all! :lol:

Still, I've got the 88 E reg 827 to be getting on with now...

According to howmanyleft.co.uk the figures for 1986 cars currently stand at :

Taxed - 1 Sterling and 1 825.
SORN - 1 Sterling and 2 825's

That makes Rebecca the last one standing, and probably the earliest car in the country.
