Lovely looking car, an excellent acquisition.

But perversely, one of the worst blower fans. Even with the air-con on, fan up to max and aimed solely at the windscreen, it takes a lot longer to clear the screen in my Vitesse than in my other half's 206 (and both have rain-water leaks at the moment, typically). Reminds me of my old XJ40 in fact

(If you've had one, you'll know what I'm talking about - twin blowers is a great idea, but they both need to work so they operate against each other. And they never both work)

Glad you mentioned the blower fans, Adrian!

I sat in R837 after parking this morning, just trying to get a feeling for the strength of the airflow. I was beginning to worry about how feeble it felt on notches 1 and 2.

Noisy, too - but then so many cars blowers are these days.

most cars of age will have some form of moisture held inside during colder months because of seal leaking air as they age harden.

I use my local pound shop (in disguise, send the wife) for moisture traps, that some folks who have used a 70's-90's caravan will bear testament is an essential item.
They are very good at removing condensation from the inside of you vehicle, Just place on the rear parcel shelf or foot well and have a much improved interior in the morning.

Doesn't intend to replace a fully functioning heating system but does help and after all at a pound a go it is worth every 100p

That moisture traps sounds essential for me Steve, must get one and perhaps get my heater fixed too!

Cat litter granules are useful. In a Tupperware box with the corner of one lid left open. One on the rear parcel shelf and one on the dash top. Vital in a Coupe.
