That looks a lovely looking car paul Just a quick note and not to detract from the splendid work you've done, but some of the stuff you have power washed off will have been wax treatment sprayed on at the factory so when you get chance treat her to some waxoyl to keep the tin worm at bay. If you don't like the black look they also do clear.

I do power wash mine but do treat them once dried out. hope I'm not teaching granny to suck eggs particularly this close to easter

Fair points you have made there paul.

I have got the original shark fin alloys on my mk1 Vitesse but bought a set of the star alloys as back ups, but having tried them on I didn't like the look as much. Yours on the other hand MK2 Prestige wheels look really good and work well against the Flame Red body and IMO I would keep with what you have on the car now.

I like that, I also like the five spokes, look a bit more sporty than the stirling wheels. I seem to be one of the few who doesn't like them

Star alloys ?

Do you mean the same as my photo ? or Vitesse 17" wheels ? or the standard 16" the same style as the Vitesse.

As you probably know, The alloys in the photo were limited to the Tickford (Thats what I thought anyway) so i just thought to finish the Body styling off.

Hi paul. I think we were crossed wires somewhere. I was meaning the 5 point alloys (star alloys) I tried a set on my MK1 vitesse and didn't like them as my car has the shark fin style.
