out and about in the sun + time for a new everydayer?

Been out and about in the Si since the weathers nice, went for an evening meal last night with mates at a very nice Gastro pub so of course, I had to take the Rover rather than the Cavalier to bring a bit of class to the place, she looked right at home.



I must admit, after having a few different cars lately i'm really of the view that there is nothing quite like an 800. Nothing I seem to drive lives up to an 800's blend of comfort, ease of ownership and drivability. So, i'm currently looking to get another one to use everyday again. I'm not getting on too well with my Cavalier sadly as the lack of power steering seems to be aggravating an old elbow injury, although I will miss it's simplicity and economy.

So do I get my 825 out of hibernation and put some cash into getting the issues that has sorted or do I go for the tidy 33k 827 SLi i've found on ebay? hmmmm…decisions! i've always wanted a Nightfire Mk2

Just a thought what about a nice 192000 fastback been used every day for the last 20 years

I wouldn't rule out another 820 as an everydayer if I could find one nice enough. I guess that would be the sensible option. I must admit though, I do like the feather light power steering on the 827

It seems like only yesterday when we picked her up but not being in the know every time we need a part it seems to take for ever to find it.
