well been working on the 827, taken various bits off, I've taken off the scuttle cover i think, why didn't they make this in plastic so it didn't rust when all the crap ran down the windscreen and sat behind it, I've hoovered out the bulkhead section where the wiper motors live, it was full of leaves, anyway check out the pics of various interior cleanliness, boot pics, scuttle pics etc sill pics.

thats my knock off chinese vip style drinks tray, couldn't afford $280 off the vip website, so bought one off ebay for £10.37. the wood almost matches the standard 800 walnut, so doesn't look to spongey

That looks rather nice. Effort that definately shows in the results.

The diagonal chalkstripe seats seem to be one type that doesn't go baggy, which is nice.

Is the drinks tray permantently fixed?

not yet mark, it has sticky tabs on it, but I'm going to stick it on with a spongy velcro pad, as don't want it to be permanent but don't want my skinny latte smacking me in the face when i recreate the tony pond isle of man fast lap, late one night.

also the striped velour is very hardwearing, but without doubt the best interior material I've ever had in a rover, its inviting, warm, soft, looks almost factory fresh, vaxed up lovely as well.

took the rear bumper off today to remove awful tow bar then took lights off and polished up behind bumper etc etc, waxoyld some bits etc etc
