800 mk2 breaking x2 what bits worth getting

guys, i know this is not quite the section to put this in but its the most read, there is a guy on eBay who is breaking 2 800s, a gold 825 fastback and a red saloon 2.0 both 98 reg, I'm gonna nab the red wings for mine and may buy the gold wings too, is there any thing worth really getting, i know expansion tanks and scuttles and plenum plates if they are any good, anyone want anything, he seems pretty reasonable.

Good condition filler pipes are good to get. Even if they are slightly crusty on the outside, as long as the metal is sound they can be rubbed down and painted.
I would be interested if they are useable and the right price.

right guys, finally i got to go to the scrappy where the 2 800s are, i got 2 gold wings as the red ones were knackered, i got a mk2 scuttle in a1, i got an expansion tank that looks ok, they are both fastbacks, the cars generally are complete, meaning the usual si alloys, rear spoilers, front bumpers with fogs, all gold doors are good, all red doors except drivers, mirrors ok, door panels good centre consoles etc, tinted rear lights on both good, fuel filler has gone on one but other is still there, its a bit crusty but i squeezed it all t he way round and i can't get it to hole, so may go back n get it, other one has gone, sunroof seems good, beige trim with morello carpets in one, grey in other, cd auto changer in one is ok, but no shuttle, radio cassette in one is ok, bonnets are good, so if anyone wants anything, he is pretty damn cheap and i will go back in the next couple of weeks so let me know.

what red? Is it Nightfire or flame and does it have a rear spoiler?

Fobs with barcodes is a good shout, dittto expansion bottles and windscreen scuttle finishers.

and these motors are in a scrap yard down your way are they ?

radio and cd may not work unless you power them up to check

steve it is a nightfire fastback 98 r reg with a rear spoiler in nightfire red not a saloon which i first thought , or the same in gold, i got the expansion bottle and the scuttle finisher, fobs are all hanging apart, cd auto changers have no shuttles in, and yes deano they are in a scrappy just off the a303 about 10 min.

ok guys leave it with me, deano they both had changers, but one had water in it due to hatch rubber leaking, but the other looked ok, where does the wiring for the changer run to, is it drivers side sill area to radio, or down the middle ?

gordon il see what i can do, the back wheels are in the air and the handbrake is duff, so i have to try n jam stuff under wheel to undo it, it was raining today so i got filthy just getting the wings off, and i lost enthusiasm after 2 hrs and dirty hands.

The CD wiring is clipped along the inside of the driver's side sill, although there is a joining plug behind the boot carpet on the RHS, the CD player itself only has a few inches of wire hard-wired into it.
