Try again later Chris - i've noticed postimages does a back up or similar every so often and some links are temporarily disabled, it usually returns to normal a few days later. :D

She's back!!!

Can't believe the difference, she drives so well now whereas before she was frankly terrifying to drive! The list of work done (and the bill) was pretty extensive:
  • Full respray
  • Sill and door bottoms repaired
  • The dreaded rust on the sunroof surround repaired
  • 29 years of car park dents and dings
  • Front suspension, ball joints and steering rack all replaced and repaired
  • Full service, new plugs oils etc
  • Headlining and A & C pillars re-trimmed.
  • Interior generally smartened up, seats treated etc
  • Complete set of new tyres
  • New fuel filler pipe, thanks to the chap that's re-manufacturing them.
Probably loads of other stuff that I've missed as well!

I've got a few other things I want to do, she'll be getting a double DIN android auto head unit and a reversing camera plus I'd like to tidy up the engine bay a little. This wasn't really a priority and my brief to the restoration company was to get her into good running condition however I may carry on a bit further now.

Flipping amazing. Well done, especially for the massive commitment involved.
