The NGK Platinum plugs are good but won't make a lot of difference to the general running, the difference will come with their longevity Stephan. You should be able to get about 48k miles (80000 km) out of them but check them every 12k miles (20000km) so that if nothing else they don't seize in the heads.

Whether the price difference makes it cheaper to run the platinum plugs instead of changing the normal plugs 4 times is another matter though!

I knew that the platine spark plugs will last more but not how long.
I am not sure that this solution is better for my wallet, but as I wanted not buy the other brand that I did'nt knew, this solution was the best for me at this moment.
I try to do the best for my cars, and I make services every year for each car even I drive 1000 km. I changed the spark plugs of the Rover after 2 years and 7000 km. It is not necessary, not ecologic, but I am reassured !!!

Superbe Lodein! In the future if you ever need some parts for the car, here is a good contact although they might be expensive. Unfortunately he is in America but the good thing is that he know a lot about this model as the series was sold in the US as a 'Sterling' - he also knows what Honda parts can be used.

I bet the air was blue after she did that Stephan! (Turning the air blue is an English expression meaning to curse, swear and generally express disgust or anger at something just in case you haven't heard that one - i think there's a similar French expression but i don't know it).

Really sorry to hear that, is it a surface scratch that will polish out or has it dented it as well as damaging the paint? Did she offer to pay for the repair or just shrug and say "C'est la vie"?

She said sorry, but I said no, not only sorry, my car was fine, so she said we are going to do an "amicable report" for the insurance, but as no one had a blank document, I have to see her again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to do it...
