What suspension have you got on that? Looks low.

No idea on the repeaters, what are they off?

yeah bmw e36 i think

were in reduced bin at halfords, i paid £3 :)

just had to cut out a slot in wings to fit them!!

i fitted a set of honda accord/rover 600 front apexi springs out of a set i got offf my mate for £30

i desperately need new shockers though as its a little bouncy, trying to figure out what options i have
aldo need polly bushes, especially the arb ones, as my off side is only half there
i think the stance is perfect!! 8)

Bouncy is _NOT_ good, especially on the front wheels, as you steer and drive from them.....

i know this lol

its tight when going round corners, just overly soft on bumps
the shockers are 162000 miles old if original ones
was soft when i got it!

its all in hand though

They're the same spings as an 800 then?

I use Koni shocks on mine but they're not cheap.

I'd be surprised if they were. They may fit but surely they're not the same.

I have read this somewhere before but couldn't remember which honda variant they had used the springs from.

pretty much same suspention set up as accord / 600 on front
the only difference is a little extra tin, so doubt they are really much different
they are uprated anyway, so not like i fitted standard ones

besides, if they used same brakes as a 400, im sure they used same suspention as 600 lol

To be fair mines a little bouncy sometimes too, but then I'm used to the konis on the 200 which have no give at all so it's probably a relative thing.

I am giving serious thought to fitting better shockers/springs to it though, but I think it's more the lateral roll that I'm struggling to get used to - I'm assuming the Vit had the beefiest ARB on the 800 range so there's not a thicker one I can fit?

I think that the diesel front ARB is as thick as the Vitesse Sport one.

Hmmm, so no chance of a thicker arb then :(

Any ideas - I really want to sort the handling and responsiveness a bit, I know it'll never handle like the 200 does, but less wallow in the corners would be a good start. On the other hand, I don't want the feeling that someone still the shocks and replaced them with a solid piece of scaffold pipe like I get with the 200

Are the droplink bushes in A1 condition? They make an absolutely MASSIVE difference to the handling - as I found when I replaced mine on the Sterling.
