Brad's cars... 4 more Mark 1's

Post by Very Tall Brad » Thu Sep 18, 2008 2:54 pm

I figured that if I posted these four at a time rather than individually, it'd be quicker.

Here are four MINT mark 1 Rover 800s.

From the left, 1990 Vitesse 827 60000 miles and with the full bodykit from new.

Next is the red/grey 1990 Sterling with 62000 miles

Next is the blue 820i manual fastback. Superb condition and recently recommissioned.

Lastly is the first of my 2 Sterling 827 cars. This is an 827S with LHD and full leather and air con. Imported from California two years ago and just 49000 from new.

Hope you like them as much as I do.

Lovely Brad

As i mentioned before i used to own the red/grey sterling. My dad mentioned it the other day, as he traded it in at his garage. No one in the trade would touch it so he gave it to me. It had 29k when i got it.

Regards

It'd be nice to see the Vitesse in one of the other colours.

Maybe it's because I don't like the colour but for whatever reason the TWR kit looks wrong on it IMO. I know my Si is a similar colour if not the same, don't like that either. :D

Fantastic cars Brad, and luckily I have had a chance to see them all in the metal.

As you know, mine once looked not far off from what your 827 Vitesse with the body kit looks like:

There is nothing jammy about it. It's hard work and 20 years of collecting. Simple really. At one point I had 111 cars of which 72 were 800s. Now down to about 45. Still too many.
